Why Little Blessings Pre-School at St. Mary’s ?

Day by day, our incredibly dedicated teachers work with your young child to methodically develop and then gradually strengthen a solid and lasting foundation of knowledge, imagination, and self-confidence. Our teachers and staff will know your child’s name, their budding learning style, and their unique personality. We will engage them daily with focused expertise, unwavering commitment, and genuine love.

The Little Blessings Pre-School curriculum will provide hands-on learning that will prepare  children for school success. Activities will enhance a child’s early educational development and will include craft and learning activities that help preschoolers understand numbers,  letters, colors, and shapes. Children will enjoy poems, books, stories, games, finger-plays, arts  and crafts, and physical activities.

The daily schedule includes ample amounts of free choice time, small group ties,whole group activities, and both student-directed and teacher-directed learning times.

  • 7:45- 8:00—Drop off

  • 7:45- 8:20—Free Choice

  • 8:20- 8:45—Circle Time/Calendar Time

  • 8:45- 9:00—Music/Yoga for Kids/Exercises

  • 9:00- 9:15—Breakfast Snack/Restroom Break

  • 9:15- 9:30—-Story Time/Bible Story

  • 9:30-10:00—Gym/Playground Time

  • 10:00-10:40–Centers/Free Choice

  • 10:40-10:50–Educational Group Activities

  • 10:50-Get ready for Dismissal or Lunch

  • 10:55-Morning students Dismissed or Beginning of Lunch

  • 11:00-11:30-Lunch

  • 11:30-12:00-Recess/Free Play

  • 12:00-12:10-Storytime

  • 12:10-12:15-Restroom Break/Prepare for Nap

  • 12:15- 1:30-Rest Time/Nap

  • 1:30- 2:00-Wake up with books and quiet center activities

  • 2:00-2:10-Snacks

  • 2:10-2:40-Centers

  • 2:40-2:50-Outside/Free Choice

  • 2:50-3:00-Pack up/Prayer

  • 3:00-Dismissal

Class time and day options:
 Monday-Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for full days
Monday-Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for 5 half days or
 Tue, Wed, Thur – 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for 3 half days
